When planning a wedding one tends to get the priorities down, the invitations, the venue, the dress and the caterers. Something that doesn’t automatically spring to mind is the catering equipment. Hotels and classic wedding venues tend to have their own kit which makes it less of a priority, but the equipment is mostly standard glassware and white, plain plates. Well Dressed Tables, equipment supplier in south Wimbledon, says “a wedding should never feel plain, set your wedding apart. Your table setting ties in your colour scheme and wedding theme and can truly transform your venue. Lets face it your guests will be looking at the table setting for most of the evening!”

DO use statement pieces. Coloured glassware or a stunning charger plate will upgrade your table setting and will dazzle your guests.

DON’T call a supplier without knowing the date and time of the event, amount of equipment needed and delivery address.

DO ask whether you can return your equipment dirty, most suppliers have a free cleaning service, and it will save you a lot of time and effort. Not to mention, most breakages happened during washing-up!

DON’T think your budget can’t handle it without looking at what’s out there. There are so many options to brighten up your table setting that are not costly.
